Middle Primary News
The Year 3 and 4 class have been busy publishing our Narrative stories over the last week! We have just displayed them all over our classroom and the children are really enjoying reading each other's stories!
These Narratives will be ready to share with you on Seesaw next week! We hope that you enjoy reading them!

Junior Primary News
This week in the Junior Primary students were given a number and were asked to represent that number in a variety of ways. Their ideas were very creative. We discussed that we could use a ten frame, the number name, dice, dominoes, pop sticks, fingers, and counters. Students enjoyed explaining what they used to represent their number to their classmates.

RE News
Hello!
And here we are, the last newsletter of the term. Thank you to all of you who have been so patient, understanding and also have done all the right things in regards to Covid rules and restrictions. It has been a definite odd time to be a teacher and a parent. I think I can say on behalf of the staff that we have high hopes that next term will look different, maybe hopefully, God willing, a glimpse of what life used to look like pre-covid.
As we end the term, we come to the end of Lent and to the main event on the Liturgical calendar, Easter. Starting on Sunday, with Palm Sunday, we begin Holy Week and our final climb to the climax of our Christian story. If you are like me and your Lenten promise has pretty much gone out the window (thanks Iso..), maybe this is a chance to refocus even if it is only just a week. Thankfully, God isn’t so much focused on the act itself, but on hearts and our intentions and also thankfully, each day is a chance of renewal and conversion. Each day we can start anew.
All orders have been submitted for our Hot Cross Bun (and Lamington) drive and I want to thank you all for supporting this initiative. Once we have all the Project Compassion boxes back, we can announce the final amount raised. These boxes need to be returned no later than Wednesday, April 13th (last day of school for term 1). So it’s not too late to add a few more dollars to the boxes to help us reach our goal of $1000. Thank you in advance to all of you who have supported this cause.
I hope all of you have a truly blessed and beautiful Easter, and that the Risen Lord brings joy and love to all of you.
God Bless,
Miriam

Spanish News
Lunch is eaten very late in Spain, often around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Therefore, snacks in a bar before lunch are very popular. These snacks are called 'tapas'. Spanish people often have 2 hours for lunch, and work until 8 o'clock at night. These unusual eating times beagn during the Spanish Civil War, and have not been changed since.

Mini Vinnies
Our Mini Vinnies group have been talking about how to bring a smile to those in our community. We are decorating Kindness Rocks and hiding them for others to find in our communities. Look out for rocks with SCMS5576!

Lunch Orders
Can parents please update your child's year level in the Qkr App. The lunches are packed by year level so it makes it easier at lunch time for students to find their lunches. Any issues, please give the office a call.
Junior Primary
Last week we celebrated Saint Patricks Day in Junior Primary. We engaged with many activities and crafts which taught us more about Saint Patrick. We learnt that he used a three-leaf clover to teach people about the Holy Trinity, which encourages us to share the message of God too.
